A great strength of this complex is its management structure spearheaded by Centre Manager, Jason Marsden. The Company’s employment of Colliers, as Management Contractors, has proven to be enduring and successful.

Jason is well-known to our shareholders, and he has assembled a close-knit and innovative team under the guidance of Colliers Director of Retail, Tim Raateland. Tim brings a wealth of centre management and retail experience.  His proactive approach to lease renewals and reviews has resulted in timely and often above budget outcomes.  In the Board’s opinion the team’s response to both the Christchurch earthquakes and the COVID pandemic were exemplary. They reinforced the ethics of transparency, diligence, respect and attention to detail.  The Board also has at its disposal the national Colliers Real Estate Management team across disciplines which includes leasing, asset management, and valuation.

The success of this partnership over such a long period has delivered a strong performing centre that responds proactively during challenging times, whilst retaining a very high level of occupancy, presentation and performance.
